Got a delivery from here - banging. Came on time, excellent portions. Lovely charred, Smokey chicken. Probably best rice and peas I’ve had. First time ordering, but won’t be my last - excellent food.
Food was absolutely delicious. The ribs and goat melted in the mouth in an explosion of the tastiest of Caribbean flavours. Beautiful smoked jerked chicken was top notch. Friendly and accommodating service. Highly recommend.
Saw great reviews about this place, so decided to go check it out! The customer service is amazing, the portions were really good and it was good value for money. The flavours were great, only issue was the jerk chicken was a bit too dry. We ordered two mains, two sides and two drinks which totalled to £45 altogether. We were struggling to finish our food, so had to take it home!
This place is a hidden gem! My partner and I came here for a pre-game meal. The food came out reasonably quickly and piping hot, and tasted fantastic. We had the curry goat and jerk chicken with plain rice/ rice with peas. Both were amazing, but I fell in love with that goat curry. We also tried the plantains and that was super yummy too. I would’ve taken more pictures but got too eager to eat and forgot the others! My partner and I are both pretty big eaters, and the portions are satisfyingly big and definitely value for money. But we couldn’t help ordering a third meal to share, the sticky pork ribs - no regrets stuffing ourselves, we happily skipped dinner later on! Totalled up to about £50 or less. The service was also fantastic, the staff were friendly and relaxed, and always smiling and ready to help. We thought the table behind us was being pretty rude to the staff but they remained so nice and friendly, and calmly catered to all their fussy requests, above and beyond. Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had of Carribean food in London. It’s a shame I don’t live nearby! Absolutely planning to return if I’m ever in the area again.
Amazing 5* 100% curry goat is cooked to perfection, the oxtail was banging. Mac and cheese was delicious. Fried chicken was amazing. The service was warm and friendly, a lovely family run buisness. Would highly recommend .
We tried the restaurant as we happened to be in the area. It was just AMAZiiing = ambience… music and deco.. tasty food with a nice presentation… nice owners! Got to love it. Recommended +++++
We had a nice welcome into the restaurant and were given a table straight away. The food was very tasty, we ordered about 10 different dishes. From deep fried ginger and garlic prawns, curry goat, jerk chicken, and oxtail. Everyone was happy with their choice. Service was very good and atmosphere relaxed. I was so happy I had to personally congratulate the chef for his talent and must say that's the first time for me. The only suggestion to minimise workload for the restaurant is reconsider using those metal bowls for the rice as means extra washing up and sure people would be happy to have rice on same plate as the protein. I will be back.
